OverviewPressLinks Back to Press page Santee Court Opens Its Doors Publish Date: 05/01/2004 Los Angeles Downtown News Residents this past weekend began moving into the first phase of Santee Court, a 165-unit loft project in the Fashion District. The development by MJW Investments will eventually turn nine historic garment buildings into apartments and condominiums, the largest adaptive reuse project in the city. The mixed-use complex will contain a Rite-Aid, which has signed a lease to occupy 12,000 square feet at the corner of Seventh and Los Angeles streets, and a 1,500-square-foot neighborhood market. A grand opening ceremony for Santee Court will take place Friday, May 21 at 5:30 p.m. at 714 S. Los Angeles St.
